Seppo Niemenoja

System Specialist

Seppo, an experienced specialist in the Kayak Atlas system, is in charge of the system’s customer support functions and assists customers in issues related to the system. Seppo has 30 years’ experience in the IT industry under his belt and has worked with the Kayak Atlas application for close to 15 years.

With his positive attitude and good sense of humor, Seppo is known to crack a joke or two with his close customers and never fails to put the people around him in a good mood.

He is motivated by successes at work and customers’ positive feedback, and he likes it that when he leaves for work in the morning, he never knows what the day will hold.

Customer support requires quick problem-solving skills, good insight, flexibility and a positive attitude – and Seppo has all of these qualities. He encourages customers to call customer support for even the smallest questions about the system.
When he’s not working, Seppo likes to relax to good tunes, especially blues.

Aija Kurki

Project Manager

At Jaicom, Aija has been involved in the successful execution of customers’ projects for the past ten years. Customers’ hectic business and its rhythm and fast pace are what keep up her interest in the industry. Aija is driven, talkative and determined, and she lives and breathes the customers’ projects and processes.

In addition to technical know-how, the projects require developing and seeing through change processes, re-designing system integrations and, of course, training. Aija majored in national economics, and in addition to her industry knowledge, her strengths are an ability to work under pressure, seeing the big picture and, of course, solid knowledge of project management. Aija works closely with customers and the product development team. The aim is to always find the optimal solution for the customer.

In her spare time, Aija works out, spends time outdoors and at the cottage with her family, which includes a German long-haired pointer.

Vesa Kauhanen

Development Manager

Vesa heads Jaicom’s product development team and oversees product development for Kayak solutions. He has extensive experience with the system, which he has been developing since 1991. Vesa is involved in all system deliveries in one way or another.

Vesa’s strengths are his undeniable experience in the industry and his excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Vesa can be considered a true coding wizard who can quickly interpret and analyze a software code and find, for example, errors in the code.

Vesa is inspired and motivated by the challenges that new projects bring. International projects also bring interesting and new challenges from a product development perspective. Different countries follow different procedures, for instance, in invoicing.

In his spare time, Vesa works out, plays floorball and rinkball, and he admits to being an avid armchair athlete and JYP (Jyväskylä hockey team) supporter.
